UCLA football team to head east, but not to the Far East‎

     

Los Angeles Times — As the basketball team heads to China, Bruins football players will have to be content with the first 13 days of training camp at Cal State San Bernardino. New Coach Jim Mora sees it as a chance to bond and learn.

Los Angeles Times“I would love to be in China,” senior running back Johnathan Franklin said during the Pac-12 media day on Tuesday. “Anywhere but San Bernardino.”

Franklin, laughing, said, “I hear it’s going to be 105 degrees out there every day.”
