The Press-Enterprise — An expected 130 Hispanic eighth- and ninth-graders from 59 schools in San Bernardino, Riverside and Los Angeles counties are participating in the 28th annual Inland Empire Future Leaders Program.
This year’s program is at the Astrocamp in Idyllwild. It began Sunday, July 29, with the opening registration at Cal State San Bernardino. The closing ceremony program will be Friday also at the Santos Manuel Student Union at Cal State San Bernardino.
Tom M. Rivera, associate dean emeritus of undergraduate studies at Cal State San Bernardino and chairman of the program’s board of directors, is quoted in the article.
