The Press-Enterprise — Ivan Rosales, who graduated from Cal State San Bernardino, is heading to New York University to study bioethincs and then eventually enroll in medical school. He is one of many young people who will benefit from President Barrack Obama’s executive order, unveiled June 15, that allows undocumented immigrants younger than 31 who meet certain conditions to live legally in the United States for at least two years.
Rosales traveled to Washington, D.C., in 2010 to lobby for the DREAM Act, which would have granted a path to legalization for young undocumented immigrants. The bill failed.
